An angel,

A fetus,

A beautiful me.

In this parallel dimension

Of dreams and fantasy,

I feel free,

Weightless,

Myself.

Naked, bare,

Away from others’ eyes,

A child,

A serpent through an apple,

Damnation.

But I can’t breathe;

That fractured reflection,

Fingers meet,

Vision blurred,

Silenced.

Judgement passed,

Those eyes

Met mine.

A tear glistened.

But they do not see.
